Stabbing My Love - 2006/02/20 09:02
(Fayetteville, Arkansas) A Fayetteville drag artist has been charged in the stabbing of his domestic partner, just moments before he was scheduled to appear on stage.
Joshua Anthony Odom who appears in the "Club Xanadu" drag queen shows at a local theater fled the wings of the stage immediately after the attack.
He was arrested after being stopped in the Chevrolet Trailblazer of a friend of the victim.
"The victim and Odom were involved in a verbal fight at the club that at some point apparently turned physical," Sgt. Shannon Gabbard with the Fayetteville Police Department told the Northwest Arkansas Times.
Odom is charged with second degree domestic battery, theft of property and terroristic threatening.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was treated at the scene for a stab wound to the lower back and did not need hospital care.
